I’ve had it, the amount of spam in my “awaiting approval” inbox is now about 500 comments. So I require registration before being allowed commenting now. As soon as I have time, I will get rid of the non follow attribute as well. I believe in the circle of give and take links. Non follow is bs.

As I have stated here, only good blogs will be accepted into my new directory Business Blogs .ORG. In order to leave no room for doubt: I am going by my judgement on this one. A blog needs to be content driven. Content and ads both have their place on a blog. But the content needs to justify the ads. What upsets me is submissions that are 100% self serving weblogs. When you have a few lines of text, you don’t want to clutter things with advertisement. Please don’t bother submitting to my directory, if you are only using a blog to generate income from the blog itself. There is enormous potential in blogging when you stop being near-sighted.

There’s a new affiliate program in town, and it’s called Shopster. Shopster has within a few weeks caught the attention of many affiliates who are already praising it. One thing they don’t have is a 2-tier payout, but that may come as well. Anyways, I suggest that you guys check them out and give me feedback here or here if you like them.

Got accepted for that as well … let’s see what happens when my MX updates.

So after a month I’ve finally gotten accepted into Google Pages. The page I’ve put up is of course about the seo contest for now. I like the look. Very clean, cool colors. I actually believe that the Google pages might catch on afterall.

The once quite popular directory is closing up for good. Zeal announced that it will no longer be available on March 28th 2006. There are no future plans for the directory and that it won’t be sold. Maybe now it’s time for DMOZ to put itself out of its misery as well.
