Internet Marketing and Search Engine Placement

Posted at 2:20 pm under Search Engine and Directory stuff

How much of a role does search engine placement play when it comes to a good internet marketing strategy?
How high is the percentage of traffic coming from the search engines and other internet marketing sources?
What is recommended to create the perfect balance so you don’t depend on just one source.

The answer is quite simple: use a strategy that does both for you.
Find sites that are ranked for your keywords and don’t necessarily have much commercial content. Then approach them for advertising.
You will get advertising traffic that is also going to improve your rankings. Of course, it is also recommended to find sites with related traffic. Sites that rank themselves about something similar to what you have to offer. Those sites are more likely to advertise you for something similar to what they have to offer, but not the same kind of product or service.
It will get you customers, and ….

when you have a lot of related links, it helps … big time!

When you get real traffic from some sources, also to specific pages with the most relevant content, your rankings will climb.

And if anything happens with your rankings …. you still have the traffic from customers clicking thru the banner or text link.
